The first bit of advice that any true degenerate will give you is, diversify. Never spend to long staring at one line or one league. Yet be mindful to not over diversify and water down any type of mental edge.

That being said the NFL has been bland this season. Offering little parity or upsets certain match ups have been almost too predictable. For example unless the Patriots play the Broncos bet the Pats. Always take Brady and the boys on the money line, you will win less but the key thing is you are winning. Stay away from teams like the Giants, Chargers and Rams who are hot and cold from week to week.

This week I have prepped you for two NFL games and three college. Although college is much riskier wager it is certainly more exciting and can often pay out better.

Saturday College Picks

Florida State -6 over NC State
Coming off their heartbreaking loss against Clemson on prime time this past Saturday the Seminoles will out for blood. Back in the national spotlight this week Florida State will expose NC State in every aspect of the game. Now 4-4 and coming off an embarrassing loss to the sad BC Eagles this NC State team is far from the squad they were that shocked Notre Dame earlier in the season. FSU takes this game by two touchdowns or more.

Pitt +3 over Miami
This is the stone cold lead pipe lock of the weekend. How in the world Pitt is an underdog in this game is beyond me. Last week Pitt lost a nail bitter to Virginia Tech but still comes into this matchup 5-3 with quality wins over Penn State and North Carolina. They also feature one of the nation's best rushers in James Conner. Miami was beaten last week by the Irish and has lost four in a row. This week this ACC battle wil be won by the Panthers 24-10.

Louisville -25 over Boston College
No contest what so ever. Flash back the schedule a month, when Clemson came to Boston and pounded the Eagles 56-10. There are many similarities between Louisville and Clemson and the final score of this one will just be one more. BC's defense is weak and non existant and their offense his slow and sluggish. This edition of the Eagles is pourly coached and quits early in the face of a quality opponent. Beside their beaten from Clemson, BC has lost to Virginia Tech 49-0. Louisville will need a big win to show the Playoff Committee they are worthy of consideration.

NFL Locks

Miami -3 over New York Jets
Miami has a new found dominant ground running attack led by Jay Ajayi and have shown drastic improvement in all phases of the game as the season has progressed. The Jets well, they have Geno Smith and therefor no hope.

Dallas -9 over Cleveland 
Dak or Tony, hot or cold, rain or shine it does not matter. The Browns arguably would be underdogs at this point against OSU. They lost their only "winnable" game last week against the Jet and this week they need a small miracle to even stay in this game.
*Gamblers Tip - Always look at the upcoming card early in the week. For example Dallas was only favored by 7 earlier in the week, making this lock even more secure.
