Pal It's hot, humid and sticky out. These are the so called dog days of summer. When reaching to quench the thirst created by the summer heat, you might not always want the traditional options. Enter Natural Light's Naturdays. It has been done before. Lemonade, or rather lemon shandies, have been all the rage for beach days and cookouts for quite sometime. Depending on your taste, you may already be partial to a Lienenkugel Summer Shandy, or maybe you're a fan of Narragansett's Del’s Lemonade Summer Annual. Naturdays do not necessarily compare. They are self described as a "seasonable light lager brewed with a phenomenal combination of ripe strawberry and fresh lemon flavors." Sounds delicious right? Now remember that the light lager being referenced is Natural Light. No matter how much lipstick you put on a pig, it's still a pig and no matter how much strawberry and lemon flavor you mix into a Natural Light it’s still going to be a Nasty Light. I'm not saying don't try this summer sipper I'm just not recommending it. The price is hard to argue with, coming in at most stores with a price tag under six bucks. The taste is comparable to a peach ring candy filtered cheap beer. The strawberry lemon combo doesn't fix a watered down cheap brew. In short, if you want to start a convo at your next cookout, pick up a sixer and have some fun. If you want something a little more friendly to your taste buds, don't waste your time.
