The Return of Comic Con to Providence

This weekend marked the return of the biggest event in the smallest state!! If you don't know what I am talking about, RI Comic Con made its return after almost 2 years of no conventions and I was in the house for this glorious occasion!!

​If you're not familiar with me, I am a HUGE supporter of comic and horror conventions. There is no better feeling than being around your peers that understand and support what some call my weirdness! Well if it makes me weird so be it!! I do not mind being part of the land of misfit toys, there is so much worse that I could be into or doing!

Events this weekend included so many reunions of some of your favorite film and television shows! Included in this was a Clerks reunion, The Warriors, The Banana Splits, and Cobra Kai! 

Cosplayers brought their A game and they definitely did not disappoint!! From kids to adults, everyone was looking their best and it was awesome to hear that because of the work these talented artists put into their craft that a runway show is being put together to showcase this beyond just conventions!!

If you have never attended a convention, I highly suggest to start saving now and go to the next one, whether here or another state, it's well worth the time just the memories alone, but there are so many awesome vendors as well where you can purchase all kinds of awesome goodies from hard to find funko pops to comics, it's not just about the fantastic guests!!
