Why the Gun Grabbers Will Never Have an Honest Debate

 Despite what the Anti-Civil Rights gun grabbers tell you, no matter how much they whine, they will never have an honest, adult discussion about “gun control”. Why?

Because they lie and when they are confronted with the truth, they say horrifying things like the time when Rep. Jason Knight of District 67 told me that it comes down to “… a policy choice.”

Great. The safety and security of my family comes down to a policy choice and I’m supposed to be fine with that. Who in their right mind would be ok with that?

When I asked Representative Robert Craven of District of 32 why I had to defend my 2nd Amendment Rights again, he told me it was “democracy” right after he tried to take away my 1st Amendment Rights.

This isn’t democracy, this is a lie perpetrated by the Democrats to disarm the American people and they know it.

Now, we’re talking attorneys, educators, business owners, etc.; these aren’t dumb people. These are people whose careers are dependent on being able to separate fact from fiction. Yet, when the issue of “gun control” comes up before the RI General Assembly, IQs seem to easily drop by 30 points or more.

The closest they’ve been able to come is by changing the language to favor their cause. We’ve gone from firearm to assault weapon (which is a completely made up term, my shoe could qualify as an assault weapon) to weapons of mass destruction.

Go listen to testimony given by some overly emotional and under educated Mom about how an AR-15 releases a spray of bullets when you pull the trigger. That is a lie. If you pull the trigger on an AR-15 one bullet comes out. Period. Anyone who tells you differently is willfully lying to you or painfully complicit in their ignorance.

I listened to a teacher wail on how terrified she is to go to school. Teachers are so crippled with fear that they grade papers in their office closets and the thought of forcing teachers to carry firearms has them so petrified they don’t know whether to wipe their watch or wind their ass.

Every single talking point against allowing teachers and staff to conceal carry is a blatant and willful lie and these teachers should not be allowed anywhere near children.

These are the same “educators” that are complaining because our children are scared to go to school. They are terrifying our children with propaganda like commercials where children are fleeing from a school shooter and they blame everyone else for instilling fear.

People, especially children, are very easy to control if they’re fearful and the Democrats know this. They have, after all, been pushing the fear/victimization narrative for decades. I should know, my community has been a victim of the Democrat party.

For those of us who refuse to be victims, who take our safety and security seriously the Democrat solution is simple. If you won’t believe you’re a perpetual victim, we’ll just make you one.

Last week the RI Democrats unveiled new bills to remove “assault weapons” and “high capacity magazines” (another made up term by the left) and right after they did, thousands of 2nd Amendment supporters descended on the RI State House in a peaceful rally.
Thousands.

It was an impressive show of support and I’m sure it sent a message to our “lawmakers” but the question is will they listen. Do they care?
Personally, I don’t think so.

Every legislative session, the Democrats introduce their emotionally based gun control bills and we show up and dismantle every single one of the gun grabber’s talking points with facts.

Make no mistake, it’s the same facts every session. The left’s talking points may change, the narrative, but the facts don’t.

The left continues to lie about “assault weapons” and our Democrat lawmakers continue to write legislation based on these lies.

From where I’m standing the only ones who want to have an honest conversation about gun safety are those who support the 2nd Amendment.

The Democrats have systematically attacked every right afforded to us by the US Constitution and now they are coming for the very thing that gave us our independence as a nation. 

In 281 days, every 2nd Amendment supporter and every supporter of the US Constitution will get a chance to finally end this.The Democrats are saying that they believe this will be the year that the gun control bills will pass.

If you pull the trigger on an AR-15 once only one bullet comes out. If we can’t have an honest conversation about that fact, how do you think this will all end?
They are trying to dismantle our Constitution.

​Who honestly thinks it’s a good idea to try to oppress the people in the very state where the Revolution began?
